2019-1 Citizen's Academy

In partnership with the Santa Barbara Sheriffs Office, we are excited to announce the start of the 2019 Citizen's Academy.  This academy is a great opportunity for community members to grow in their knowledge of public safety, civilian rights, emergency preparedness, as well as the history and policies of local law enforcement agencies.  Topics covered will include Search and Seizure Law, Active Shooter training, K9 Operations and much more!

Applications were accepted for the Citizen’s Academy until Friday, March 29, 2019.

The Citizen's Academy is free of charge.
