Forcible entry:
This email is being sent to the campus community as a Timely Warning regarding a crime that occurred on campus property. The following is provided for your personal safety.
On August 25, 2024, at 1:44pm, the UCSB Police Department received a report of an unlawful forcible entry that occurred at Calaveras Court, San Joaquin Villages, earlier this afternoon at approximately 1:15pm. The unidentified suspect entered the ground level apartment through a window.
The suspect is described as a black male adult, in his 30's, around 6'2", with dreadlocks, wearing a dark colored unbuttoned shirt and dark colored shorts.
On August 25, 2024, at 10:03pm, the UCSB Police Department received an additional report of an unlawful forcible entry to a different ground level apartment at Calaveras Court, San Joaquin Villages, which occurred at about 9:03pm this evening. The unlawful entry occurred through a window.
The suspect is described as a male adult, with no further description.
