Attempted Kidnapping into a Vehicle An attempted kidnapping occurred in Isla Vista and also in Campus Housing. A suspect is NOT in custody. Suspect description: College age male, white, approximately 5 feet 10 inches, dark hair, thin build. He is associated with a late 90s model gold Toyota Camry, or possibly a late 90s model, gray Honda Civic. Call 911 if the suspect is seen. You may see significant Law Enforcement in the area attempting to locate the suspect. Please do not walk alone. Use the CSO Escort service if available. Residents in the area of Storke Rd and El Colegio are asked to stay indoors to assist with a K9 search. An update will be provided when more information is available.
